Empowering Learning are currently recruiting an enthusiastic teacher of mathematics, to work in a secondary school in South Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have a desire to improve student standards and want to share their own creative ideas and experience.

The school is located a short drive from Oxford centre and also is accessible to Reading, both within 30 minutes.

You will ideally have at least 2 years teaching experience in mathematics, although ECT's are welcome to apply.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain classroom experience and support the learning journey of students in mathematics, you will:

Be in control of your working week
Gain experience in a variety of different settings
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Support students in completing tasks and maintaining their focus.
What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
Who wants to help schools and students alike, to achieve their goals
Is confident in managing groups of students across various year groups and subjects.
Holds a degree or equivalent experience in a teaching setting.
