As a result of consistent year-on-year growth, we’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Manchester.

The Role

* Develop new business by selling temporary recruitment solutions to businesses in Manchester and across the North West.

* Provide staffing solutions in industrial, driving, mechanical and electrical (M&E), and trades and labour sectors.

* Collaborate with recruitment consultants to convert 'spot business' into regular clients.

* Formalize client relationships via Service Level Agreements and Preferred Supplier arrangements.

* Build and maintain strong relationships through client visits and ongoing communication.

* Act as a liaison between clients and the internal recruitment team, ensuring roles are filled efficiently and compliance is maintained.

* Work closely with the Sales Manager, Account Managers, and Resource Team as part of the management team.

Key Requirements

* Proven experience in the recruitment industry, whether as a recruitment consultant, account manager, or business development professional.

* Experience in temporary recruitment, ideally within driving, industrial, trades and labour, or M&E sectors.

* A proactive approach to client engagement and business development.

* A valid driver’s license is essential.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (with flexibility where possible).
