Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team in Chichester on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office). Their expanding team represents a diverse range of clients, including sole traders to multi-million-pound businesses with a global footprint. About the Role:
You will serve as a primary point of contact for designated clients to manage all their accounts compliance and other service requirements. Some of your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring the completion of all relevant tasks related to client accounts whilst ensuring effective team workflow.
* Preparation of accounts for companies, partnerships, LLP’s and sole traders and preparation of tax returns and computations.
* Review of VAT returns.
* Track the progress of work and ensure to maintain suitable communication levels with clients and internal stakeholders on the progress of tasks.
* Conducting research whilst addressing and resolving issues for upward communication in more complex clients and/or higher risk aspects of accounts work.
* Complete administration on client account files and set up relevant file reviews.
* Opportunity to review work of Accounts Assistants where agreed and assist other service line members as required.
* Prepare bills and monitor WiP for managers and above when required.
