TPF Recruitment's client, a highly successful firm of accountants based near Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Kent is looking for a Client Manager to join them, in a rewarding and progressive career opportunity. This will be a hands on position where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this exciting client manager position. Managing a portfolio of own clients

Reviewing all accounting and tax work in the office

Acting as advisor / overseeing on all complex tax matters

Engaging with potential clients and managing communications to potential clients

Completing personal and corporate tax computations

Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

VAT return preparation and submission

Plus, other ad hoc duties

Requirements

ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm

Technically capable of producing statutory financial statements and managing information to a high standard

Experience of calculating and submitting client VAT returns

Experience of corporation tax and personal tax planning

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to facilitate client relationship development and be confident corresponding with clients and HMRC by email and over the phone

Benefits

£50,000+ dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
