An opportunity has arisen for a Guillotine Operator to join our clients Wem based team.
The successful candidate must:
* Have experience operating a guillotine, any experience in other areas of sheet metal work would be preferable but not essential.
* Comfortable operating a 2 tonne forklft truck, licence preferable but training will be offered.
* Have an engineering background.
* Be able to use measuring equipment.
* Perform work in accordance with the companies health and safety procedures.
* Be highly motivated and reliable.
* Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in clean and orderly manner.
This is a full time position, with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Friday.
Overtime is available, and would be expected when required.
Pay rate starts at £13.75 then changes to £14.46 after 12 weeks
