Start Date: ASAP or January 2025 for the right candidate
Contract: Maternity Cover, Full-Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are working on behalf of a friendly and inclusive two-form entry primary school based in Aylesbury, looking for an enthusiastic and committed Upper KS2 Class Teacher to join the team for maternity cover. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Work closely with the other KS2 teachers to plan, assess, and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
Effectively manage classroom behaviour and establish clear expectations for all pupils.
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, ensuring that every child makes sustained progress.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support pupil development.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2.
A commitment to promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment.
The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A passion for creating an inspiring and supportive learning environment.
