We are recruiting for an Project Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Project Engineer will be overseeing engineering projects from conception through to completion and also troubleshooting, guiding and supporting production facilities, this will be a busy role where you will work towards continuous improvement, scheduling, planning, forecasting and managing technical activities.

As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for :

* Identify, develop and implement modifications to current manufacturing equipment and processes

* Manage projects as well as timescales and budgets

* Identifying any new requirements within the manufacturing processes

* Preparing and submitting tenders through to installation and commissioning

* Coordination and management of any contractors regarding projects/tasks

* Ensure full compliance with health & safety compliance

* Prioritising tasks, deadlines and a number of projects

* Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage technical activities

* Ensure continuous improvement and project accuracy

Requirements:

* A degree in Engineering or a relevant field

* A strong technical knowledge with a good understanding of engineering principles

* Experience working with 2D and 3D design (AutoCAD and Inventor)

* An understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics

* Able to prioritise tasks, deadlines and projects

* Coordination of contractors, projects and tasks

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
