Van Driver

Hourly rate: From £12.50/ph

Hours: 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday

Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of their Engineering & Manufacturing client in the heart of Blackburn.

Our client is part of a large nationwide group, heavily involved in the metal sector supplying a multitude of industries. We are seeking an experienced Van Driver, ideally with a clean licence, to service customers within the local area.

Key Responsibilities

* Forklift experience

* Safely operate a commercial van to transport goods and materials to designated locations

* Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and navigate through various road conditions

* Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of deliveries

* Ability to communicate with customers and build relationships

* Multi-drop between 5-20 deliveries a day dependant on route

What we require from you

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Forklift experience/License

* Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred

* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

* Keen eye on time management

* Ability to commute to Blackburn on a daily basis

* Flexibility with hours during the day
