Prospero Teaching are recruiting a experienced PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher for a primary school in West Birmingham.
Position Details:
· Location: West Birmingham
· Position: PPA Teacher
· Type of Work: Class Teacher
· Start Date: ASAP
· Contract Type: Temporary
· Part time: 4 days, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (term time only)
· Rate of Pay: Negotiable based on experience
· Duration: 2 terms until July 2025,
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging lessons across different year groups (covering teacher absences).
· Plan, mark, and assess pupils' work.
· Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
· QTS & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a school setting, either in a permanent or supply role.
· Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is essential. If you haven't completed Safeguarding training in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide a free course to ensure you meet this requirement.
Eligibility Criteria:
· Right to Work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
· Enhanced DBS: You must have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
· References: You will need to provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
