Our client is seeking an experienced Appointed Person to join the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB in Wendover. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a background in lifting operations, civils, or infrastructure projects to contribute to a high-profile development.

Location:

Working on the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB

Scope of Work:

Planning and supervising all lifting operations on site
Preparing and reviewing lift plans in accordance with LOLER and BS 7121 standards
Ensuring all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
Liaising with crane operators, lifting teams, and site management to ensure smooth operations
Inspecting lifting equipment to ensure suitability and compliance with regulations
Providing technical guidance and ensuring that RAMS are followed correctly

Key Requirements:

Valid Appointed Person (AP) CPCS/NPORS card (essential)
Previous experience in planning and supervising lifting operations (essential)
Strong understanding of LOLER, BS 7121, and lifting regulations
Ability to develop and approve safe lift plans
Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and RAMS
Previous experience working on civils, infrastructure, or HS2 projects is advantageous

Rates & Benefits:

£28 - £30 per hour CIS, depending on experience and qualifications
Potential for contract extension based on performance

Duration:

6 months minimum, with the possibility of extensionStart Date:
