Short Description 
TAG Construction Ltd are currently seeking a skilled,proficient and versatile Supervisor to join our team. 
A Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for site personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, and you will play a key role in maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Description: 
As a Supervisor Operative at Tag, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for site personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, and you will play a key role in maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization. 
 
Responsibilities: 

Supervision: Direct and supervise site personnel, including tradesmen, laborers, and subcontractors, to ensure work is performed according to project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to plan and execute construction activities effectively. Schedule deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor work to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
Safety Management: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions as required.
Quality Control: Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship, materials, and finished products meet quality requirements.
Progress Monitoring: Track project progress and performance against established schedules and budgets. Identify potential delays, issues, or discrepancies and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photographs, inspection logs, and as-built drawings. Prepare and submit reports to project management as required.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders regarding on-site activities, progress updates, and any issues or concerns. Address client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain client satisfaction.
Problem Solving: Identify challenges, obstacles, and conflicts that may arise during construction and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success. Seek input from project team members and stakeholders as needed.  
 
Requirements: 
- CSCS Blue Groundworker 
- Proven experience as a site supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction, including  CDM regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card Required.
- Valid driving license may be advantageous for site travel.
