Our client is a specialist supplier of products that are related to the building / construction sector. Due to continued success, our client is seeking an additional enthusiastic Quality Lab Technician to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of performing laboratory-based quality control testing methods and practices to join a friendly, growing business.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* Performing various tests on manufactured products and collating and reporting on results

* Quarantining products where necessary and performing root-cause analysis

* Setting and analysing product tolerances

* Supporting and carrying out internal and external audits

* Supporting R&D functions

* Customer complaints investigation and resolution

* Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience working within Quality Control / Laboratory Technician / Lab Assistant type position

* Knowledge and experience using Lab testing equipment

* IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel
