Are you an experienced driver looking for an exciting opportunity in the automotive repair industry?
Look no further! We are seeking an experienced Driver to join the dedicated and dynamic team at our brand new Steer Electric Milton Keynes site and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
About the Job
As a Recovery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by collecting vehicles from customers and transporting them to our site for repair work. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering vehicles back to customers once the repairs are completed.
Your main duties will include:
* Collecting vehicles from customers and safely transporting them to our repair site.
* Delivering repaired vehicles back to customers in a timely and professional manner.
* Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
* Ensure compliance with all legal requirements as set out in the Road Traffic Act.
* Maintain flexibility to cover shifts at other locations during staff absences.
* Support other sites in the region when needed.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial driving role, preferably as a vehicle recovery driver.
You will also have:
* Ability to plan and organise your work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Flexibility in approach to work assignments and be able to adapt to changing work priorities.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Work skilfully and safely at all times and make sure that all tasks are completed following Health and Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
* Valid Driving Licence (preferably clean) and be over the age of 21 due to insurance requirements.
