A fantastic new role has come to market for a Claims Handler working for an independent insurance brokerage in Bolton. Our client is a leading name in the insurance industry, known for delivering exceptional service and building long-lasting relationships with their clients. The Claims Handler position would sit within one of our client’s specialist teams, where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial claims on behalf of clients. You will be supporting clients throughout the full insurance claims cycle, handling new claims enquiries, liaising with insurers and keeping the customer informed throughout.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a good grounding in the insurance sector, however commercial claims experience is not a necessary requirement, and we are happy to hear from individuals from a Motor Claims or Personal Lines insurance background with a real desire to further their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of commercial claims, ensuring efficient and timely resolution.

* Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and keep all parties informed of progress.

* Assess claims details, review documentation, and negotiate settlements.

* Provide clients with expert advice and support throughout the claims process.

* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

* Continuously develop knowledge of insurance products and claims procedures.

About You:

* Ideally, you will have some experience and a good grounding in insurance.

* We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in Motor Claims or Personal Lines who are eager to advance their careers in commercial insurance claims.

* You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in every task.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be dealing with clients and insurers on a regular basis.

* You are committed to providing excellent service and building positive relationships with clients.

* You work well within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment.
