KELTEK is currently looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker to work with a sought after engineering company in the Rotherham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top tier engineering company that can offer good rates of pay, overtime and bonus opportunities and a great working environment with a days only, flexible shift pattern.

Job Details

* Toolmaker/Assembler

* Rotherham

* £32,500 p/a (Starting)

* Hours - 7am - 2:30pm (Early finish on a Friday)

* Days - Monday - Friday

* Bonus and Overtime available

* Working in a modern, well organised facility

* Working with an industry leading business

Duties and Responsibilities

To program, set and operate various machine tools and hand tools, depending on business requirements. To produce a high standard of work which conforms to all quality standards whilst adhering to safe working practices, with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Other duties include:

* Assembling finished parts

* De-burr and polish parts

* Setup and run manual lathe

* Make and design fixtures / Bungs / Equipment as per instruction

* Carry out basic machine maintenance

* Assist Inspection as and when required

* Interpret engineering drawings

* Problem solving

* Operate EDM Wire Machine - Setting / Operating / Programming / Fixturing

* Use measuring equipment

* Follow manufacturing / Quality instructions
