Position: Support Worker

Location: Blackburn

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 28 hours per week + plus sleeps

2 x 8am-10pm + sleep (£45 per sleep) per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Due to expansion, we are again looking to hire experienced healthcare support workers in the Blackburn area to support individual within supported living accommodation.

Job Role:

SSP are growing and we are looking for experienced support staff to join us in our new service, supporting a elderly client with general day to day activities and personal care.

- Record keeping

- Report writing/ Incident writing

- Some personal care could be involved

- Ensure the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of supported person far as possible.

- Working together with the supported person family and professionals.

You will need to be:

- Flexible

- Reliable

- Experience within care/elderly care

- willing to carry out personal care

- Demonstrate empathetic, compassionate approach

- Organised and highly competent at multi-tasking

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Committed

- Ability to develop effective working relationships
