National Shipping Operations Manager

Location: Southampton

Salary: Up to £53,000pa (DOE)

Are you a highly experienced Operations Manager with a background in Import Container Operations for a UK based Shipping Line? Are you looking to advance your career for an established and highly regarded Global Logistics Company? This role could be excellent for you!

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:30pm)

Management of Import Operations Staff across multiple sites.
Maximize carrier haulage utilization and profitability.
Ensure full utilization of GB carrier haulage capacity.
Assist with Account Management and provide excellent Customer Service.
Oversee Import CSR Delivery and Release.
Ensure all KPI's are met and exceeded across managed Teams.
Handle all customer rate requests and inquiries promptly and professionally
Recommend and advise on solutions for any issues that arise.
Implement and enforce company policies for Import deep-sea and other container trades related to UK imports.Requirements:

Previous Experience working for a UK based Shipping Line is essential.
Previous experience working in Container Operations.
Previous Import Operation experience.
Extensive Leadership Experience within the Shipping and Logistics Industry.
Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
