About The Client:
My client is one of the UK’s leading specialists in a wide range of construction solutions and services. They are a leading construction company specializing in complex façade refurbishment and renewal, roofing, scaffolding, specialist surveys and asset management. The sectors they cover include Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Leisure, Logistics & Warehouses, Rail, Residential and Retail. Due to a huge increase in projects, they’re looking to employ a Project Manager to help oversee Façade Projects across the UK.

The Role in Detail:
As Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering façade and fire remediation projects ranging from £12 million to £15 million. These projects could be singular or distributed across multiple sites, requiring exceptional organizational and leadership skills to ensure success. Your primary responsibilities include:

* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor teams of Site Managers, Contract Managers, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and accountability across all levels.

* Project Oversight: Take responsibility for all aspects of project delivery, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

* Operational Management: Supervise the stripping and renewal of facades, focusing on fire barriers, insulation, and external materials, ensuring all works meet compliance and safety standards.

* Commercial Focus: Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and value for money while mitigating risks.

* Technical Expertise: Oversee works involving materials such as brickwork, stone, glass, aluminium, and wood panels, ensuring the highest quality and durability.

* Compliance and QA: Implement rigorous quality assurance and fire remediation checks, ensuring compliance with building regulations and safety requirements.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring excellent communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

* Nationwide Projects: Travel regularly to various project sites across the UK to oversee progress and maintain a hands-on approach.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

* Proven experience managing large-scale façade refurbishment and fire remediation projects, with a deep understanding of fire safety requirements.

* Expertise in handling budgets ranging from £12 million to £15 million, either on single or multi-site projects.

* Strong knowledge of external envelope works, including stripping facades, renewing fire barriers and insulation, and working with diverse materials.

* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire teams of Site Managers and Contract Managers.

* Familiarity with operational and commercial project management, balancing technical requirements with financial objectives.

* Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards, particularly in fire remediation.

* Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to challenges and ensure timely delivery of projects.

* Willingness and flexibility to travel nationwide as required.
