About the School:

Our partnered school is a well-respected secondary school in Greenwich, specialising in providing exceptional education and support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Complex Care. The school is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every student can achieve their full potential.

The HLTA Role:

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD

* Leading small group and one-on-one interventions to support individual learning goals

* Implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

* Managing classroom behaviour and providing emotional support to students

* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support

* Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture

What We’re Looking For:

* HLTA qualification (or equivalent)

* Proven experience working with secondary-aged students with ASD

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to manage challenging behaviour with a calm and nurturing approach

* Flexibility, patience, and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
