Key Details:

Position: School Chef (Cook & Baker)
Location: Methwold, Norfolk
Hours: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary Ongoing Assignment
Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Pay: £14.50 - £15.50 per hour

Role Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook nutritious, tasty meals for students and staff
Create a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads
Follow food safety standards and ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment
Assist with menu planning and ensure dietary requirements are met
Work collaboratively with the school's catering team to ensure smooth daily operations

Essential Qualifications:

Proven experience as a chef or cook, with strong baking skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)
Passion for delivering high-quality, balanced meals
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
