Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the co-ordination and helping with the delivery of all assigned projects relating to the build and activation of a new infrastructure within the Civils team. This will also require the designing of Traffic Management (TM) plans and working with the in-house TM teams on coordinating activities.

Responsible for ensuring all areas provide updated information to enable delivery to the set targets and timeframes as set out within the build schedule.
A point of control between all relevant parties ensuring that every task is monitored, chased, and updated as necessary to meet the agreed scheduled dates. Provide accurate updates of status of job/delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
• To assist in project co-ordination and direction to the workstack that the PC is responsible for.
• To provide accurate and safe TM plans in conjunction with Civils Manager.
• To produce the required reports to assist with delivery of the Civils projects.
• Provide Permit opening/closure for Streetworks.
• Ensure Interims and Defects are investigated and closed within set SLA’s.
• Preparing project updates.
• Maintain project schedules.
• To provide our field teams with all relevant details to ensure delivery within timelines and to agreed
standards and legislation.
• Provide the appropriate reports and data to allow informed business decision making.
• Continually inform field delivery teams of project status plus risks and issues pertinent to the delivery
of works.
• Co-ordinate the Crew Schedule of Works, working with the Project Managers to deliver a workstack
across all of our clients.
• Assist the Project Manager(s) to ensure all deliverables are delivered on target and within budget.
• Maintain and update Project Management tools and systems.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Evidence of having run the co-ordination of a project, working in a technical and structured project
environment within the Telecoms sector would be advantageous.
• Experience in project co-ordination and/or project management with the ability to communicate at
all levels of the business in order to build relationships internally.
• Evidence as a team player with good communication skills.
• Must be able to work collaboratively to assist and co-ordinate wider group efforts to assist in
fulfilling needs.
• Good attention to detail.
• Takes ownership of problems that occur and offers solutions to the team.

Education and Qualifications:
• Manual Handling
• Any NRSWA or Traffic Management accreditation is advantageous especially CONE software
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Foundation project management course, Prince2, PMP or the like
