Project Manager  

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to become a key member of our clients London office.
Operating across sectors such as residential, commercial, arts & leisure, and education, they specialise primarily in residential developments. This role will focus on their Build-to-Rent operations, with particular emphasis on the transaction stage of the development process.

Requirements they are looking for a candidate who has:

At least 3-5 years of experience in the industry, particularly in pre-contract and procurement.
A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for engaging with clients, consultants, and developer teams.
Confidence in leading client meetings.
Ambitions to enhance their technical skills and expertise.
A collaborative, team-player approach with the ability to work closely with clients and colleagues.
Commitment to achieving RICS status or completing the APC if not already done.
Strong communication and workload management abilities.
Problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
Experience with JCT contracts and bespoke Development Agreements (desirable).
A solid technical understanding of construction.
A full, clean driving license (desirable). Job Responsibilities
No two days are the same for their Surveyors.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading pre-contract services, including chairing client and development commercial/technical meetings.
Delivering Employer's Agent and Contract Administration services from inception to completion across various projects.
Managing pre-construction activities, including chairing design team meetings.
Preparing and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
Advising clients on various forms of procurement and contracts.
Identifying and managing project risks.
Administering JCT construction contracts and development agreements, including leading meetings.
Valuing work on-site, certifying payments, and preparing cost reports.
Mentoring Assistant Surveyors to help them achieve their career goals. You will join a friendly, established team in central London, with support ranging from Director to junior level.
