Blue Arrow is proud to work in support of a leading manufacturing client in Belper DE56. We are recruiting for experienced production and assembly operatives with backgrounds in manufacturing to join this amazing team in on-going roles.

Due to site location and shift patterns, you MUST live locally or have your own transportation.

This client offers excellent pay rates which increase with length of service!
- £13.17 on morning shift (up to £16.63)
- £15.01 on afternoon shift (up to £18.47)
- £15.98 on night shift (up to £19.44)

We are looking for candidates with full flexibility to cover all 3 shift rotations
-Day shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:30, Friday 06:00 - 12:00
-Afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday 14:30 - 23:00, Friday 12:00 - 18:00
-Night shift: Sunday 20:30-06:00, Monday-Thursday 23:00-06:00

We will consider transferable skills - construction, mechanical, electrical or working with tools in your day to day life (i.e. DIY, fixing your car/bike etc). Once you start on-site as a flexible worker, there are opportunities for upskilling, and training.

ESSENTIAL:

- Due to location and shift patterns own transport is a MUST.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job - this would involve manual handling/picking/moving of boxes, as well as using machinery

REQUIREMENTS:
- High level of dexterity with strong attention to detail
- Previous assembly and production experience (preferred)
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Excellent time-management, punctuality and reliable
- Be self-motivated and driven by targets
- Someone who enjoys working systematically and productively
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to work efficiently

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Working on an assembly line, putting goods together in a factory environment
- Report any issues with machinery or goods on the assembly line
- Always meeting health and safety requirements and committing to working safely at all times
- Working to time targets (timed completion of tasks at your station while still ensuring quality)
- Safe set up and use of machinery, working with hand tools

During the induction session, there will be a simple assembly skills test to see if you have dexterity and ability to follow instructions. If successful, full on-site training will allow you to quickly understand the tasks required of you and the machinery used is intuitive.
