Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Hourly Rate: Circa £22 per hour
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee service delivery across multiple HS2 sites, ensuring high standards, efficient use of resources, and strong client relationships. The successful candidate will focus on compliance, financial performance, and effective management of onsite teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate client service delivery across HS2 sites, ensuring collaborative use of resources.
Manage contract financial performance, working with the Operations Director and Financial Business Partner to achieve targets.
Build and maintain relationships with HS2 stakeholders to understand and meet client needs.
Ensure all contractual KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, overseeing compliance and safety.
Supervise and develop Resident Engineers and Subcontractors, delivering training and conducting regular reviews.
Support planning, implementing, and monitoring of PPM schedules and reactive works.
Record all planned and reactive works accurately within the company's asset management system, Planon Universe.
Develop procedures for effective service planning, organization, control, and review.
Lead contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives.
Maintain the customer compliance tracker and update monthly.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Facilities Management (FM) background essential.
Strong team-working skills and the ability to maintain clarity under pressure.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); CAFM system experience preferred.
Proven track record in Facilities Management with solid knowledge of building services and relevant legislation.
Professional qualifications in FM or a related field.
