An electrical cable jointing company working within the power distribution industry, Due to the expansion of their operations have a fantastic new opportunities for candidates around the Leeds area who want to get involved within this line of work in the streetlighting sector.

Position:
Cable Jointers Mate

Description:
Following the instructions of the experienced cable jointer, undertaking the installation and connection of high and low voltage electrical mains and service cables. Maintaining high safety standards working within the public eye outside in all weathers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining Health and safety standards for self, co-workers, public and other trades
* Picking and loading of materials for daily tasks
* Keeping the works area, van and equipment clean and tidy
* Mixing of resins

Must Have:
* Full UK Driving licence & be based in or around the Leeds area
* Minimum 4 years Driving experience
* Good communication and customer service skills

Previous trade experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.

In return our client will offer:
£33,000 - £37,500 (£17-£18ph)
Full training to becoming a qualified HVLV Cable Jointer
