Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) specialise in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

We're on the hunt for a Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join our team in Portsmouth, who's as passionate about great service as we are!

Working Hours: 7.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

Location: JPS Portsmouth, Unit C6 Nevil Shute Rd, Portfield Ind Est, Portsmouth, PO3 5RX

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects

Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions

Perform regular deliveries for our customers around the Portsmouth area and upwards into Hampshire, unloading at customer specified sites

Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)

Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts

Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience

A full, clean manual driving license is a requirement of this role

Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

Stellar communication and people skills

Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S

Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
