Role Overview:
We're seeking a Head of Operational Excellence to elevate standards across our 12 data centres. In this newly created role reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, you'll lead efforts in energy efficiency, health and safety, and client experience while managing one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and oversee standard operating procedures across data centres.
* Drive initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability, achieving PUE targets.
* Align operating procedures with product offerings and ensure accurate, consistent documentation.
* Manage data centre lifecycle planning and capital investment budgets.
* Provide training on standard procedures and manage risk registers.
* Collaborate with the Head of Environment & Sustainability and the Head of Risk & Assurance.
* Maintain high-quality installed capacity data and stay updated on industry regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven leadership in operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* Experience in IT operations with a broad business impact.
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence and drive change.
* Familiarity with data centre industry standards (e.g., ISO27001, ISO14000, ISO50001) is a plus but not essential.
