Salary: £90,000 per annum

Our client is a specialist retailer with a reputation for innovative products and a quality service. Established over 40 years ago they are a family owned business with a turnover of £3M and fantastic brand recognition within their category.

Continually looking to improve processes and attract new customers the client has some ambitious growth plans to treble the turnover of the business in the next 5 years. As such they are looking for a talented Managing Director to join their team and help them achieve their goals.

Managing Director – The Role:

This is a key role for the business as it looks to continue its impressive growth. Working closely with the owners of the business, this person will oversee the strategic direction, playing a vital role in developing the online and international offerings of the business alongside the traditional retail offering. They will be responsible for driving the company towards financial success & sustainable growth whilst promoting a positive corporate culture.

Managing Director – Key Responsibilities:

- Develop & implement the company’s overall strategy to achieve long-term goals & objectives

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

- Explore new opportunities for business growth, expansion and diversification

- Oversee the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting and financial planning, ensuring profitability

- Promote the professional development of employees and foster a positive and productive work environment

Managing Director – You:

- Track record of success in a strategic leadership role within an e-commerce business, ideally selling internationally

- Strong understanding of retail, warehousing and fulfilment

- Experience with digital marketing

- Proven experience of driving growth in a business
