Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful and ambitious business in Bolton to recruit a pro-active and enthusiastic Finance Manager.

This is a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to gain valuable experience in a diverse role, with complete ownership and autonomy over a new division within the group. You will be responsible for establishing new processes, driving reporting and efficiencies – offering significant potential to make an impact.

The role will suit an individual who has strong excel and data experience, and able to manage and prioritise workloads. Our client is open to practice trained candidates who are ACA/ACCA qualified, or industry CIMA candidates who are looking to become a future finance leader.

Responsibilities include:

Full ownership of all accounting, reporting and reconciliation for a division within the group
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations 
Cashflow forecasting and analysis
Production of weekly and monthly KPI reports  
Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including liaising with central finance functions
Ensuring the business maintain a strong financial control environment
Assisting with the preparation of Board Packs for Directors
Working with the Group FP&A team on budgeting and variance reporting 
Provide ad hoc support to the Group FD, CFO/ CEO and business MDs
Ad hoc project work as the business continues to grow via acquisition
