Technical Compliance Lead – FMCG – Herefordshire – Mon–Fri

We’re working with a well-respected FMCG brand in rural Herefordshire (independent, family-run, and genuinely lovely people) who are on the lookout for a Technical Compliance Lead. This is a key hire for their Technical team — someone who’ll help shape their approach to quality, sustainability, and compliance as they work towards Net Zero goals and continue to grow their reputation for top-notch products.

What you’ll be doing:

Championing compliance across the site, owning the Integrated Management System

*

Supporting internal audits and third-party inspections with confidence and calm

*

Helping drive progress on sustainability initiatives

*

Ensuring quality control systems are tight, and customer requirements are consistently met

*

Bringing clarity to technical data through smart analysis and reporting

What you’ll need to bring:

*

3–5 years in Technical, Compliance or Auditing roles (within food or drink manufacturing ideally)

*

Lead auditor experience preferred

*

Strong working knowledge of food safety, legal standards, and internal auditing

*

HACCP and Food Safety Level 3 training would be fab (but not essential)

*

Tech-savvy with Excel, Power BI, Outlook etc.

*

A degree in a relevant field

*

Analytical brain, calm under pressure, and laser-sharp attention to detail

The practical bits:
? Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
? Competitive salary (around £40k-£45k depending on experience)
