Store Assistant/Van Driver

Mon – Fri: 8am til 4.30pm (Flexible)

Our clients represent a diverse range of industries including aerospace, automotive, public sector, utilities, manufacturing, foundries, defence and rail. Our nationwide operation not only supplies and repairs equipment, we offer service plans and deliver vital health & safety training: adding value for our customers’ businesses.

We are now looking for a Store Assistant/Van Driver to join us to strengthen our stores function, tasks will include but not be limited to:

* Booking in tools for repair and related processes

* Booking in and checking off incoming stock

* New tool picking inc Website orders

* Shipping and packing

* Organising outgoing couriers

* Managing the new tool plant and test process

* Customer deliveries and consignment stock counts

* Regular stock counts and consumable

* Adhoc Workshop tasks - cable cutting etc

With experience in a similar role, a hard-working attitude and the flexibility to work overtime when required, the role is both rewarding and a great opportunity to be part of a growing team. Technical knowledge is an advantage but not essential.

A good knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and being computer literate in major programs such as MS Word, Excel is an advantage along with a good standard of literacy and numeracy and strong communication skills

Full driving license essential
