Teaching Personnel are working with a trust based in Birmingham who are looking for staff to join their Pastoral team, supporting in a variety of roles inclduing Inclusion, Behaviour, Attednance and Student welfare.
The schools are looking for senior pastoral staff to join their team and start immediately on a full time basis. All the trust schools are within commutbale distance of the city centre of BIrmingham and easily accesible of the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Ensure and deliver effective pastoral support so that individual students and groups of students are supported to actively participate in learning and reach their full potential.
Support the raising of standards in the school by leading and delivering pastoral support to a year group of students; and within that year group by providing support to individual students and their families.
Be responsible for managing and addressing the needs of students who need help to overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.
Be responsible for supporting the improvement of student punctuality, attendance and behaviour and assist the school’s pastoral programme in reducing disruption and raising student achievement and progress
Contribute to effective transition from other schools ensuring the student well-being
Requirements:
You will have:
• 5 A*- Cs at GCSE including English and Maths.
• Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
• Experience of providing pastoral support within an education setting.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to speak in front of large groups of students and small groups of staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
