Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5)
Foster a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and confident
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Prepare students for exams and help them develop their scientific knowledge and skills
Collaborate with colleagues in the department to share best practices and resources
Contribute to extracurricular activities and support the wider school community
Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management

What We Are Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Sciences)
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential)
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning
A passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring students
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
