Salary: £85 - 95 per day, dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a SEND school in the Stoke area, where you will be working with a wonderful SEND class.
To be considered, you should have prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, a strong understanding of the SEND school curriculum, and a compassionate, nurturing approach to your work.
You must be a qualified SEN TA - ideally level 3 or equivalent
Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
Safeguarding level 1 trained
DBS on the update service
SEND experience

The school caters to children with a variety of special needs, including physical and learning needs. Therefore, it is essential to have a strong background in working within an SEN setting and be prepared to assist multiple students with a vast range of SEND.
The school caters for children from KS2 up to KS4, within this role you will be supporting mixed age learners. Your responsibilities will include providing targeted support in small groups and offering individual assistance to students within the classroom.
