Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant

At Tradewind we are looking for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support a boy 121. The boy has behavioural issues and needs extra support in and out of the classroom. The role is starting from January 2025 on a full time basis.

The two-form entry school is located in the heart of Hampstead. The school prides itself on promoting high academic achievement for all. The school has a warm and welcoming feel to it, that spreads a supportive nature all around.

The role:

Supporting a Year 6 boy 121 who has behavioural issues
Supporting within the classroom and outside
Reporting to the class teacher and SENCO
Setting out plans and expectations of the day and week
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Starting in September 2024 - Full Time PositionThe ideal candidate:

Strong SEN support background (ASD, ADHD or behavioural issues)
Genuine passion for education
Dedication and commitment for the role ahead
