Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Location: EX1
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Salary: £9,000 - £11.54 per hour
Contract: DEFRA

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will help maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors at our DEFRA contract site in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in the late afternoons with consistent weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces

* Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas

* Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to the highest standards within the allocated time

* Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a cleaning or similar role is preferred but not essential

* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Reliability and punctuality
