Electrician
Class1 Personnel  have a fantastic opportunity for a temporary (permanent opportunity for the right person) to join our Client as a Electrician

Duties will include:   
Highways electrical works including maintenance and repair plus installation of all street furniture such as bollards, beacons, signs, lighting columns etc.
Take part in out of hours emergency services on a call out basis
The standard hours of work are 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm)
You Will Be Responsible For
Assist in electrical testing and installation of street lighting equipment, including LED lanterns

Work at heights up to 12 metres 
Ensure security of plant, tools and materials and compliance with health and safety policies.

We Want To Hear From You If You Have

Full UK driving licence 
Must be able to work outdoors

Appropriate technical qualification eg City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 3  or above
BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, 17th or 18th Edition
Experience of electrical maintenance activities, general distribution and installation and testing.
Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations.
Capable of working at heights.
Ability to work alone and use initiative.Full training will be provided if the below criteria are not met:

Experienced working with electrical installations within the public realm & highways
Experience with limited access excavation / groundworks within the public realm & highways
City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
Have relevant CSCS / ECS Card
