Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Lead Electrical Engineer for our client who operates in the MEICA sector. It is a hybrid position based in Macclesfield.

This role will initially be part-time ( 8 - 16 hours per week), alongside assisting in delivering other electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with project audits

* Coordinate and collaborate with E&I and Electrical Design team

* Assist Team Framework Manager with design schedules and drawing/ documentation reviews, scope of works

* Project tendering

* Mentor junior members of the electrical team

* Lead Electrical Design team

Requirements:

* Chartered Engineer (or in process)

* Previous Lead Engineer experience

* Good knowledge of building services and E&I design

* Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineer or similar (preferred)

* Knowledge of building regulations, BS7671, BS5839 and BS EN 60079 and CDM regulations 2015

* Compex qualifications (preferred)

* Working knowledge of industrial HV and LV distribution systems

* Experience with digital engineering tools/ technologies
