We are looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Engineers to play a key role in the performance and success of this facility, setting new standards in British manufacturing and environmental best practice.

Role Overview

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure the plant operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the implementation of the site’s strategic plan.

* Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage planned maintenance and stock control.

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections, servicing, and repairs.

* Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance as needed.

* Ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities and data.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through the site’s management system to enhance plant performance.

What’s Required:

* Understanding of current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation in a manufacturing setting.

* Strong team player with a flexible and problem-solving mindset.

* Proven ability to fault-find, repair, and implement solutions.

* Proficient in using IT systems and maintenance software.

Desirable Experience:

* Experience in a preventative maintenance environment.

* Background in maintaining large engineering plant and equipment, including:

* Electrical and mechanical systems.

* Fault diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.

* Rewiring and modifying electrical circuits.

* Siemens PLC fault finding.

* Inverter/drive configuration and maintenance.

* Fluid power system diagnosis and repair.

* Conveyor system maintenance.

* Basic fabrication skills.

* Condition monitoring of plant and equipment.

Qualifications:

* Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical Maintenance.

* Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance.

* Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
