Position: Support Worker with Driving Licence
Location: Day Centre, Wembley
Role Description: As a Support Worker at our Day Centre, you will play a crucial role in assisting adults with learning disabilities. Our centre is dedicated to offering a wide array of services that prioritize the well-being of individuals and their families. We focus on providing opportunities for people with learning disabilities to make friends, develop life skills, find employment, and actively participate in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with service users in various activities.
* Assist wheelchair users and support with toileting when necessary.
* Pick up and drop off service users from their homes using the clients’ car.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4pm
Requirements:
* Fluency in English.
* Experience working with individuals with mental health and learning disabilities.
* Punctuality and strong work ethics.
* Caring and compassionate nature.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Ability to provide two professional references.
* Minimum of 6 months of experience as a support worker.
