Job Duties:
Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Develop individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to facilitate academic progress
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
Recognised teaching qualification
Experience working with students with SEN
Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of the UK educational system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Organisational skills and the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Education
Additional training in SEN support
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school or home environment with students who have SEN. The position may require occasional evening or weekend work to attend meetings or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
