Are you currently working in finance, part-qualified and looking for a step up into new challenge?
Due to an internal move, we are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our Eastwood site.
The Recipe Due to an internal move we have an opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager to join the team at our Eastwood Bakery and Distribution site in Eastwood.
Working alongside the Operations Finance Manager, you will manage and support a small administration team, supporting circa 380 colleagues within manufacturing and distribution. As part of the wider finance team you will get experience of working with other sites and Assistant Finance Managers nationally and have the opportunity to also support across the business, You will be our finance expert and be involved in managing site finances, capital spend, forecasting, budgeting and spend tracking and be able to translate finance to non-finance colleagues. As well as managing site operations at Eastwood, we also have a distribution depot in Stone and national Finance team meetings, therefore there will be an element of travel required on occasion. We're happy to look at supporting further qualifications and someone looking to develop from a Part-Qualified finance role and would love someone with a passion for developing and motivating a team.
Essential Ingredients
Part qualified with a desire to study towards CIMA or equivalent
Able to deputise and work with the site leadership team as required, with the ability to roll your sleeves up and get involved across the site as a trusted adviser
A desire to motivate, manage and support a small administration team
A passion for data with the ability to interpret results, clearly communicating and ensuring understanding of both finance and non finance colleagues.
Proficient in Excel, working with spreadsheets and reporting
