Facilities Technician needed in the Uxbridge area!

Our established client is looking for an experienced Handyperson/Maintenance Operative to join their team.

This role is initially a temporary role for 3 months however there is potential for this position to progress into a permanent role.

Duties

General maintenance of the care home such as, changing light bulbs, painting, unblocking sinks and toilets. It will also include general PPM checks which will include daily room checks, weekly fire alarm tests, and monthly tap temperature tests.

The successful candidate will have the ability to escalate any electrical or plumbing work beyond basic work and upload basic data onto the company system.

Due to the nature of the environment, the successful candidate will need to have a current Adult Enhanced DBS Certificate with Adult Barred list, issued within the last 12 months or be willing to have a new DBS completed.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break however hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 p/hour depending on experience
