SEND Home Tutor

Location: Leicester

Start date: September

Salary: £25-£45 per hour (dependant on experience)

Do you have experience working with SEND? 

Here at TeacherActive we are on the hunt for strong SEN Tutors to work in and around Leicester City with children in KS3 and KS4. The role will involve working on a 1 to 1 basis with children with special needs, usually within the students home.  

Due to the complexities attached to each referral, we are unable to go into specific detail on the needs of the children for each role. 

We current have both full time and part time positions available to start immediately and for September. 

Successful applicants will have:

-          QTS or HLTA qualifications

-          Experience tutoring and confident working on a 1 to 1 basis with students

-          Good knowlegde of the curriculum 

-          Experience working with and understanding of SEN/SEHM

-          Excellent time keeping and reliability

-          Access to your own vehicle or ability to travel around Leicester 

-          Valid Enhanced DBS check (We can help with applying if you dont already have one)
