School Caretaker:

Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum

Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for maintaining a safe and vibrant environment? We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Officer to join our dynamic team and support the day-to-day operations across the entire school site.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring a well-kept and secure school environment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on school premises, including building works and grounds upkeep.
Perform regular checks and maintenance of the swimming pool, including accurate record-keeping.
Undertake various cleaning duties such as graffiti removal, replenishing cleaning supplies, and maintaining areas not covered by the main cleaning contract.
Handle minor maintenance tasks such as unblocking drains, repairing doors and furniture, changing light bulbs, and decorating.
Operate and maintain lighting, air conditioning, heating systems, and other equipment after appropriate training.
Monitor health and safety around the school, including routine checks for legionella and fire alarms, and ensure fire escape routes are clear.
Provide access to external contractors, assist with moving school property, and manage the security of the premises.
Prepare rooms and equipment for school activities and events.
Conduct weekly safety checks and cleaning of the school's minibuses.Benefits:
