Are you passionate about education and dedicated to making a difference in students' lives? We at Masterclass are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work across a diverse range of schools, including primary, secondary, and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings.
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Various locations across Surrey (Primary, Secondary, SEN)
Pay Rate: £13.08 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students, helping them to achieve their individual learning goals.
* Assist teachers in creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.
* Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
* Support the emotional and social development of students.
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students.
* Help with classroom management and organization.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
* A relevant qualification in education or support work (desirable but not essential).
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
