Sales Executive
Full-time Permanent
Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
Salary dependent on experience
Outskirts of Swindon
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our client based on the outskirts of Swindon.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop knowledge of products, customers and the marketplace
* Sales of the company’s core products and other BIFG items alongside Bespoke Concrete
* Maintain quote calendar and diary
* Maintain and update prospect calendars
* Review potential NPD by being alert to competitor offerings
* Attend exhibitors and meet the buyer events to gain industry knowledge and contacts
* Be aware of expected sales margin for each product
* Quoting customers and follow up
* Research job opportunities by sector
* Support of sales emails and customer contact (folder creation, updates, prep, risk review, finesse, send, change & order
* Attend pre contract & site meetings
* Understand ideal customers and how they relate to the products
* Be aware of competitive activities in relevant market spaces
* Manage and improve lead generation
* Review of product gap and new product development needs
* Develop strong loyal relationships with all relevant decision makers
* Ensure quotations are within company capability
* Carry out any other duties as reasonably required
Essential
Excellent administrative software skills
Dedication to providing excellent customer service
Excellent communication and people skills
Organised, detail oriented, able to work to deadlines
Ability to work effectively, independently and within a team
Nice to have
Experience in the construction or related industry
Experience in sales or customer facing activity
Good mathematical approach/competent in Excel
