Job Title: Deputy Care Manager

Job Type: Full-time - 8am until 5pm

Job Description:
Claire at Amber Mace is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Care Manager to join a small residential care home in Stafford. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will assist the Care Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Care Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home.
• Lead and motivate the care team to deliver exceptional care to residents.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Conduct regular staff training and performance reviews.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
• Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and budget management.

Qualifications and Skills:
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• A compassionate and patient approach to care.
