We are currently recruiting for an EHS Advisor to join an extremely busy Manufacturing Engineering client based in Malton.
This position has been created due to company growth which has created growth within the team.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within a similar role with an emphasis on Environmental work ideally around carbon footprint and waste reduction projects. Knowledge of CBAM would be highly advantageous
Candidates must have strong knowledge of both ISO 14001 and 45001 standards to help maintain standards across the business.

Role Description
* Conducting COSHH assessments, manage waste control and hazardous waste collection, and lead the Energy Team for environmental initiatives.
* Supporting new product introduction, manage gauging and calibration, and conduct product measurements and ISIRs.
* Performing ISO 45001 and 14001 internal audits, maintain environmental product declarations, and support external accreditation audits.
* Driving continuous improvement activities, handle non-conformance management, and maintain various registers (Aspects & Impacts, Risks & Opportunities).
* Collecting and maintain carbon footprint data, support legislation maintenance, and manage customer and accreditation portals (CBAM).
* Maintaining COSHH assessments and waste registers.
* Processing waste transfer notes and hazardous waste collection.
* Leading environmental initiatives and maintain relevant data.
* Supporting external accreditation audits and internal ISO audits.
* Handling NCAR and SNCAR documentation and maintain customer portals.
Skills & Attributes
* Demonstrable experience within a similar EHS role - experience within a an engineering/ manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
* Qualified internal auditor – advantageous
* Strong working knowledge o ISO 14001 and 45001
* Experience in carbon footprint projects is highly advantageous including knowledge of CBAM
* Excellent communication skills.
