The role involves operating Loading Shovel Truck to perform a various of task including tipping and loading of vehicle outside in all weather conditions. Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machinery as needed. Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production. Drive loading shovel to transport materials within the facility.
• Follow all site safety rules (reporting procedures, PPE, smoking policy, emergency procedures)
• The safe operation of mobile plant
• Working to health and safety, environmental other standards as they apply to the process
• Processing and movement of materials
• Feeding lines and hoppers with material for process
• Cleaning work areas
• Carrying out daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site working plan
• Co-operate with site management
• Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures as required
• Working to timescales and deadlines
• Keep site supervisor informed of any issues or concerns (relevant & timely);
• Ensure lock off procedure are followed correctly
• Ensure housekeeping of working area is maintained to good standard
• Be aware of own limitations
• Attend training as and when required
• Follow maintenance schedule for machine and maintain a high standard of the machine both inside and outside
• Be aware of environmental factors and act accordingly – weather conditions, wind, noise, dust and litter
